Space Exploration Technologies Corp., commonly known as SpaceX, is an American aerospace manufacturer and launch service provider founded in 2002 by entrepreneur Elon Musk. SpaceX occasionally releases concept art that aligns with it's goals and ultimate visions, one of which is bringing life to Mars. The company is headquartered in Hawthorne, California and is known for designing, manufacturing, and launching advanced rockets and spacecraft. SpaceX has been a disruptive force in the worldwide launch industry, offering launch services at lower costs and pioneering the use of reusable rockets. The company works closely with NASA to deliver cargo supplies and astronauts to the International Space Station, as well as to launch satellites into Earth orbit.
