Sidney Hall, a British engraver and cartographer active in the early 19th century, was renowned for his atlases featuring maps of the United Kingdom and the ancient world. Educated in London, Hall created works such as the constellation series "Urania's Mirror" and etchings depicting historical locations. His notable contributions to cartography were continued by his widow, Selina Hall, after his untimely death in 1831.
